Children’s Center at VOA

Open spots available now for infants, toddlers, and children 3 & 4 years old for full-time child care.

Since 1987, the Volunteers of America (VOA) Children’s Center has been providing full-time child care and educational programs focused on early childhood development and school readiness through play-based learning for children 6 weeks through 4 years old, plus summer and after school programs for up to 12 years old.

Our nationally accredited day care center proudly serves more than 150 children daily with early childhood programming and a warm and welcoming community of staff, children and families. We also provide additional support services such as a full-time Registered Nurse, on-site dental care (in partnership with Anthony Jordan Health), family development services, on-going parent training, full-day care, and disability supports.

DSS subsidy and private pay accepted. (Learn more Child Care Assistance Program subsidies).

We are located at 214 Lake Avenue. Rochester, NY 14608
The center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.

After-School program at VOA Children’s Center!

Looking for an enriching after-school experience for your child? Enroll them in the VOA Children’s Center after-school program for kids aged 5-12!

VOA Children’s Center after-school program includes:
– Bus transportation from schools
– Enrichment activities in STEM, arts, music, and sports
– Academic support with homework help and tutoring services
– Healthy snacks provided
– Resources for parents to support their children’s well-being


Hours: Monday – Friday, until 6 p.m.
(DSS subsidy and private pay accepted.)
